Book Review: Rock Chick Revolution by Kristen Ashley | Rock Chick #8

Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley

Saving the most anticipated book for last, the story of one of the Rock Chick's founder Ally. I've been looking forward on her story since the first book and as I read along the series, thought that she will never get her own, but here it is. Noticed a few hints in Rock Chick Revenge,  where all things between her and Ren began, and this book surely did not disappoint. Ally is not the typical type of heroine from the series who needs protection from her badass hero because she is and can be a badass too.

When Ren was first featured on Rock Chick Revenge, I just cant wait for him to have his perfect woman. He so much deserved it. He is so gentle, so kind and so sweet. He may not be the hero for that particular book but I just know that he will be surely a perfect hero in another, and in this book, he truly is. He's definitely a macho badass Alpha. Do I need to say absolutely Hot?!

In the previous books, I see Ally as pushy, she always force the other heroines to spill and yet she have kept her secrets and her romantic relationship with Ren to them. I can't blame her, she thought that what is going on between Ren and her is nothing serious, just casual and thinking that he has a thing for another woman is kind of sad. But he got serious, so does she, she is one hell of a badass heroine. She is fearless, she's good at what she does. She's a true Rock Chick.

The setting is pretty much the same as the other stories, but this has some kind of a rewind, since in the other books, Ally has always been a side character but in here we get to recall what happened to her and Ren in between the other Rock chick's drama. But Ally is not just a smartass, sassy Rock Chick, she's definitely a badass heroine too. It runs in her blood. In this book, I got to see the brothers-sister relationship between Lee, Hank and Ally. Also, the ending is very amusing, where everyone worked together for a common goal, the brothers accepting Ally as a colleague and not just a little sister that needs protection. Aces!

Having been able to read the series in order, I felt that I already know all the characters personally. It feels like I belong, like I'm part of this crazy family and I have experienced their crazy wild adventure ride.

As they say, all things must come to an end. Being this book as the last one for this series. I hate to say goodbye but I have to, to the Rock chicks, to the Hot bunch and the whole crazy gang. This is definitely one of my favorite series and will definitely re-read and re-read again in the future.
K.A mentioned in the end of this book that we will follow Mace and Stella's adventure in Los Angeles so I'm definitely looking forward to that, since in the book Rock Chick Reckoning it has been mentioned that Mace built his own security agency and hired men that can rival Nightingale Investigation's Hot bunch. Wow! Another set of Badass Alpha hero?! Definitely looking forward to that.

Knowing that this book is the last of this series, I felt sad. I know I will be missing the Rock Chicks, the Hot Bunch and the gang, but come January 2017, the most anticipated prequel to the Rock Chick series - Rock Chick Reawakening,  the story of the  lovable and Rock Chick Sweetheart Daisy and one of Denver's most feared crime boss, Marcus' book will be released. So definitely stay tuned for that.

So, if you are fond of action packed fun filled crazy romance novel, with lots of hot sexy badass Alpha hero and a gorgeous smartass crazy heroine, with lots of steamy sensual scenes, go check out the Rock Chick series and you will surely be hooked. This series is a one hell of a crazy roller coaster ride, so ride along and as always Rock On!

It would be advisable to have the Colorado Mountain series read in between reading the Rock Chick series specifically Breathe before reading this particular book as the story in that book precedes with this one, though all books in both series are can be read as stand alone, the stories and the characters are somehow connected, but nevertheless, you'll survived.
