A one hilarious crazy action packed fun filled romance novel filled with guns, stun guns, tasers, teargas, bombs, grenades, car chases, kidnappings, food fight, name it. A one great crazy action ride. Definitely entertaining! So hilarious! I find myself laughing so hard.
Indy is a sweet fierce smartass rock chick with a crazy goal - to beat Lee on solving her dilemma. Lee is Badass, yes with a capital B! He's hot and he's definitely an Alpha yet he can be very sweet and gentle but he can be possessive too. Indy is definitely in denial. Lee surely knows that ten years is more than enough, a lot of time has already been wasted and he is definitely not playing games.
This is so hilariously funny, it is like the world has been messing with their past relationships so they can be together. They know each other all their lives and Indy loves Lee as long as she can remember and have absolutely done everything, to throw herself to him, but only to find out that Lee only see her as a little sister. After ten years of constant hide and seek, they finally found each other in a very serious and dangerous situation, but Lee will stop at nothing to protect her, keep her safe and make sure to keep her warm in his bed. Squee!!!
I love all the characters, the friends, the family, they are all looking forward on Indy and Lee being together. That they even connive to make sure that they are together. So cute and so adorable yet so funny.
There are some bits and pieces that are a bit confusing but I survived. It just made the story more interesting and it made the readers be familiarized with all the characters in the story and expect to encounter them on the next books.
The book is made on Indy's point of view that has been made to look like she is talking to us, the readers, as if we are with her as she experienced this crazy, mind blowing journey.
I had to re-read this book to be able to write this post, and I still found myself laughing out loud and still so hyper on the extra ordinary events in this book. Resulting into re-reading the entire series, so the next book reviews will be all about the books in this series as I'm definitely hooked (again!). So, if you are fond of an action packed fun filled romance novel with a hot, sexy, badass Alpha hero and a smartass crazy heroine, with lots of steamy sensual scenes, this book and this series should be your next read.
This series made me fell in love with Kristen Ashley, that made me read most of her books as they are all jampacked with hot, sexy, action scenes and Alpha heroes. She is definitely one of my favorite authors and I consider the Rock Chick series as one of my favorite books ever read. I will definitely re-read and re-read this series in the future.
