Book Review: Rock Chick Rescue by Kristen Ashley | Rock Chick #2

Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley

This is an action packed fun filled romance novel with so many crazy rides. This story is about a troubled beautiful woman enduring everything alone but then found a man who claim her his and see her as in the need of being rescued and protected.

Eddie is a cop. Yes! One Hot cop! He is definitely a badass Alpha hero, he is fearless, he does what he wants, he is possessive yet so gentle and patient. Jet has so many problems that Eddie finds the need to have her protected and kept safe. Jet is absolutely pretty with a stunning smile and yet she don't see herself as one. I find it difficult for her not to see herself. She lacks confidence, though everyone around her screams that she is undeniably beautiful. But she is very thoughtful most specially with her family, she endures even if she can't take anything anymore. With Eddie by her side, and the whole gang, she doesn't need to endure everything alone anymore.

We got to see Indy and Lee from the first book as they move on in their lives, and we get to be introduced with so many characters that we will be seeing in the next books in this series. I just find it amusing that almost every hot guy in the series had a short innocent flirting scene with Jet, though of course she has been claimed by Eddie, so not possible.

All the characters have worked together to keep Jet safe. And having all the Hot bunch work together is so squee worthy. Looking forward to Mace's story on Rock Chick Reckoning since in this book, his back story of having a very dark and painful past has been mentioned. Definitely can't wait for that.

This is the second book of the series but there are six more stories after this so I definitely have to read fast to be able to keep up. Make sure to have all copies ready because I'm sure if you love a funny action packed romance novel like this one, you'll definitely wouldn't be able to stop reading and re-reading all the books. It's going to be worth it.
