All Time Favorites: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Review

cetaphil, cleanser, facial wash, sensitive, skin

Cleansing is the most important part of anyone's hygiene. When I came to adolescent stage, that's when I've learned to use a cleanser that is specifically formulated to be used on the face. I was constantly looking for a facial wash that will not break me out. Then, I've heard about Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser as the most talked about facial wash, it has a lot of good reviews and recommendations so that's the time that I decided to give it a try. Ever since I've used this product, it never disappointed me.

However, there's this time that I felt tired of using it, so I tried using other facial wash. Unfortunately, it only gave me break outs. I understood that sometimes, when you are using a product for the first time on to your face, it will need enough time to adjust. Unluckily for me, it never gone well. So, in the end I've decided to return to my now all time favorite facial wash.

Product Description as per the back sticker of the bottle:

cetaphil, cleanser, facial wash, sensitive, skin

How I use it:
Cetaphil can be used for both face and body but I only use it as a facial wash. This cleanser can be used with or without water, but I prefer using it with water so I can feel that I'm really cleaning my face. I just use it the way we would normally do. Apply an ample amount on my palm, rub on to my face in a circular motion then rinse it off. Afterwards, I felt that my face is clean and refreshed.

Where Did I Get Mine:
Watsons

Availability:
60ml - Php 119.00
250ml - Php 324.00
473ml - Php 674.00

What I Like About It:
  1. Gentle and non-irritating (so gentle that it's ideal cleanser for a baby's delicate skin)
  2. Non-drying - perfect for those who have a dry skin like mine
  3. Non-comedogenic - it does not block my pores
  4. Fragrance-free - which will help save my face from any irritations
  5. Ideal for sensitive skin - which means that it only have the safest ingredients
  6. Available in all sizes - no worries for travel or long time usage.
  7. Available in all leading drugstores nationwide as well as some grocery stores. (I even saw some sales representative of a certain company giving this product as a giveaway)
  8. They always have promotion packages - I always got mine in those packages, since I know that I will be using the product for a really really long time. As you probably can tell from the picture above, the bar code is covered by a white sticker to cover it from scanning (I probably got it in Buy 1, Get 1 same size. I can hardly tell as I've been hoarding this product whenever I saw their promo packages but of course taking into consideration the expiration date. I sometimes just give my extra bottles to my sister since she love using this product as well).
What I Do Not Like About It:
Just a slight comment - It does not foam (just want to feel like I'm really cleaning my face, like bar soaps can. That's why I prefer using it on my face and not on my body) - but since this is soap-free, gentle, non-irritating and non-drying product, it is very acceptable. Whereas bar soaps tend to really dry my skin which is really a concern for me so in the end I really don't care if this product does not foam. (Ow! In that case, why have I put it here anyway?) :)

Will I Repurchase?
